Design for K1 Internal Moving Bed Filter.
There are many DIY variations going around the Internet at present.
This design will be filled with K1 Media and seeded with Gel Bacteria Balls in the base.
The Dimensions are not fixed. You can build what ever size suits your aquarium.
The model shown is 10 inch high and 4 inch square at the base.
The Sponge filter attached is very cheap and takes next to no fitting. I have used four suckers on the back wall.
I will take another set of Photos once this Moving bed filter is up and running with K1 Media.
Then we can compare both the Maximal filter system including the normal air driven corner Filter type.
